The album, Wysing Forest, will be released via James Holden’s eclectic Border Community imprint on 23 June.
It will be accompanied by headline gigs in Totnes, Glasgow, Manchester and London, and an in-store gig at Rise Records in Bristol.
Abbot has also announced two special London dates set for 11 and 12 November at Cafe Oto and the Vortex Jazz Club respectively, involving a selection of supporting artists.
The first Abbott-curated show will take place at Cafe Oto on 11 November with support from electronic artist Karen Gwyer and Norfolk performer and composer Laura Cannell, a self-taught fiddle and recorder player who performs a range of improvised, ancient and experimental music.
Appearing at the Vortex Jazz Club will be saxophonist Jack Wylie of Portico Quartet.
As well as his work with the Mercury Prize-nominated group, Jack has been working on a series of additional projects, including a collaboration with Luke Abbott.
