The London Electronic Arts Festival will run across the capital from 7 to 10 November, hosting a series of talks, masterclasses, installations, screenings and performances.

Giorgio Moroder will be in conversation and he will follow up the session with a UK exclusive DJ set. Elswhere, New Order will discuss the influence of Ibiza on the recording of their 1989 album Technique.

The event will also host the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and Mute label boss Daniel Miller will present The A-Z Of Electronic Music.

Across London, venues will host acts including Major Lazer, Trentemoller, Kevin Saunderson and Eddie Fowlkes.

Turner and da Bank said: ‘London has defined a genre. It may not have invented electronic music, but it gave it a global focal point for decades. Its influence from DJs to parties, flyers to technology platforms, has been pivotal to the durability and the inventiveness of this scene.

‘LEAF aims to bring all of this together for the very first time in the capital. This is our way of giving something back to a city that helped shape our entire working lives.’

Day passes for the festival cost £30 while a full LEAF festival pass costs £65.
