The Dunwells, Beth Rowley, Emily Barker and Polly Paulusma are among the first wave of artists announced for the fourth annual London Folkfest.
They will be joined by more than 40 other acts, including Bridie Jackson and The Arbor, Jon Gomm and Nizlopi’s Luke Concannon, across four stages at The Bedford pub, Balham.
The festival, which takes place from 5 to 8 June, also includes daily seminars and workshops aimed at demystifying the process of writing, recording and releasing music.
FolkFest founder and creative director Tony Moore said: ‘I am thrilled and excited that The London FolkFest has achieved so much since we began and we are looking forward to presenting an even more exciting and musically diverse event this year.
‘Our goal at the beginning was to breakdown some of the boundaries between different types of music and present a great blend of artistry that would surprise, inspire and entertain everyone.’
