Andrew Loog Oldham, Rolling Stones manager and former PR man for The Beatles, will give a keynote address while photographer Ian Tilton will be hosting an exhibition of Stone Roses photos, some of which have never been seen before.
Tracey Thorn, rock band Enter Shikari and Murph from The Wombats will also host sessions offering their advice on how to survive a career in the music industry.
Sound City is a key event in the calendar of the UK’s music business with 360 artists performing over its three days.
Last year saw the likes of Mercury Music Prize winners Alt-J and Django Django play gigs ahead of the release of their critically and commercially acclaimed albums.
