Abbey Road Studios’ Live Here Now service will collaborate with Robbie Williams to offer instant recordings of gigs from his current tour.

The partnership will take place across Robbie Williams’ Swings Both Ways Live European arena tour.

According to the studio, recordings will be produced every night and be made available to fans at the concerts minutes after Robbie has exited the stage.

David Rowntree, head of Live Here Now, said: ‘We’re absolutely delighted to be working with an artist of Robbie Williams’ stature. More and more artists and management are recognising the value of creating new releases from gigs.

‘The service Live Here Now provides is a logical extension of the live music industry’s role as a key revenue stream, with gig-derived product generating sales from core fans, without cannibalising existing retail releases.’

The CDs and high quality downloads will be available exclusively through RobbieWilliams.com.
