Michael Seary, Jalen N'Gonda and Amique will perform at London’s Proud Galleries, Camden as part of a Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) showcase.
The event will welcome the three artists to play in the capital on 27 April. All were chosen to participate in LIMF’s 2015 Elite Talent Development Programme from 2,000 budding musicians as part of the LIMF Academy.
This initiative is one of the leading music development programmes in the north-west offering performance opportunities, training and workshops.
Yaw Owusu, LIMF curator, said: ‘New talent is the life blood of this city. It’s brilliant that the Academy has been able to showcase, develop and help a lot of the key new artists and bands coming through at the moment. It is such a central part of what we are trying to achieve with LIMF.’
Michael Seary is a Liverpool producer and songwriter while Jalen N'Gonda has is a soulful pop artist to have toured with Laura Mvula. Amique creates music that fuses soul, rock, funk and jazz.
LIMF’s evening showcase will offer a chance for industry professionals and London-based music fans to see performances from some of the artists discovered by the award-winning LIMF Academy programme.
The night which is free to enter and hosted by BBC Introducing presenter Dave Monks and BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra's DJ Target.
