The Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) is to host a London showcase with Eleanor Nelly, Lumen and Suedebrown all performing.

Taking place at Proud in Camden on 7 June, the free live event will be presented by the LIMF Academy and see these Liverpool artists joined by Gazelle, SUB BLUE and Astles.

The night will be hosted by Jamz Supernova (BBC Radio 1Xtra) and Dave Monks (BBC Introducing Merseyside) and act as taster of what to expect from the LIMF event itself.

The fifth edition of the festival aims to showcase both local talent and international artists and will be held in various venues across the city 20-23 July.

Gorgon City, Corinne Bailey Rae and Katy B are among the eclectic line up of artists taking part in this year’s event.

More than 120,000 music and culture lovers descended on Liverpool for the 2016 edition.

The LIMF Academy offers all Merseyside musicians aged between 13-25 career development opportunities. The next intake of students will be in spring 2018.
