Roundhouse Rising will offer all aspiring music industry professionals and musicians the chance to find out how to break into the business.
Taking place at the north London venue from 20 – 23 February, the event will feature a mixture of panel sessions and masterclasses with live performances.
UK development agency Generator will host a day of seminars on how to build a music career and playing live on the 21 February before a live showcase that evening. On 23 February, music news website CMU will host a day of talks on how to get started in the music industry.
Oli Kluczewski, festival producer, said: ‘Rising Festival 2014 is our biggest and boldest to date, showcasing even more fantastic new music than ever. We really want people to come to the festival, experience the building and discover something new, take part and be inspired.
‘In addition to the all the great music, the programme features loads of practical advice sessions for emerging artists and young people looking to get ahead in the creative industries. The Roundhouse aims to make Rising an essential event on the festival calendar for anyone looking to break into the music business.’
Live music will come from the likes of Tim Exile, Ninja Tune’s Letherette and East London producer Midnight Davis as well as showcases from Generator and Artrocker.
