The Music Producers Guild (MPG) Awards have announced entry details for their 10th Anniversary Awards, which organisers promise will be 'the biggest, best and the glitziest yet'.

The awards will take place at London's Grosvenor House on 1 March 2018, presented by BBC Radio 6 Music's Shaun Keaveny (pictured).

Submissions open on 16 August 2017 and, as in previous years, are open to everyone to ensure a diverse range of recording professionals are put forward for consideration.

Producers and studio owners are encouraged to submit their own names, and likewise managers have the chance to put their client's name forward.

Previous winners include Sir George Martin CBE, Youth, Paul Epworth, FKA Twigs, Brian Eno, Roni Size, Catherine Marks, Trevor Horn and Dave Stewart.

A key event in the UK music industry calendar, the MPG works to raise the status of the UK’s highly skilled recording professionals and, through its awards, champion their creativity and talent.

'In many cases it is the producer, not the label, that brings about artist success,' said Tony Platt, managing director of MPG Awards. 'This is recognised and acknowledged in our Awards, which have built up an integrity respected throughout the production community.'

Submissions will open on 16 August via the MPG website here and close on 30 August.

Update: Submissions have now been extended another week and will now close at midnight  on 7 September.

The 13 Awards categories open for public submission are:
