Ivor Novello winning Joris de Man and BAFTA nominated The Flight will be taking part in a BASCA event to explore how composers can make a career out of composing music for videogames.

Taking place on Tuesday 30 May at Tileyard Studios, the event will see the composers discussing the specific challenges of working in this medium compared with other forms.

They will provide recent examples from their recent collaboration on Sony PlayStation 4's best-selling new game, Horizon Zero Dawn, developed by Guerrilla Games.

The evening will be moderated by John Broomhall, composer (Transport Tycoon, X-COM, Forza 5), keyboard player and co-founder of the Game Music Connect conference.
