Joe Frankland, chief executive, PRS Foundation, comments: ‘Thanks to the fantastic support from Momentum partners, we continue to support artists who have reached crucial tipping points. We know this support has a significant impact on the careers of artists and their teams. At this time of year, it’s great to see so many Momentum-supported albums making end-of-year lists, and I congratulate the latest round of grantees whose outstanding music means we’ve no doubt they’ll be making waves in 2020.’
Sarah Mitchell at PPL adds: ‘PPL is proud to support the Momentum Music Fund, which enables artists to drive their careers forward through creating new records, engaging in profile-raising marketing and embarking on nationwide tours. The Fund continues to provide a vital stepping-stone to success for artists; we wish those receiving funding every success and look forward to seeing and hearing their contribution to UK music.’
