UK grime artist Lady Leshurr is performing as part of Jazz Voices, the opening night gala for the EFG London Jazz Festival.

Taking place 11-20 November, the festival is a highlight in the UK jazz calendar offering more than 300 gigs from more than 2,000 artists.

Now in its ninth year, the festival’s signature opening-night gala moves to the Royal Festival Hall but retains its stellar cast of voices.

Led by Guy Barker’s 42-piece orchestra, the likes of Jacob Collier, Polly Gibbons, fresh from supporting George Benson and Gladys Knight, the Brooklyn-born, Harlem-based Allan Harris, vocal powerhouse trio LaSharVu join Lady Leshurr.

Previous guests with Jazz Voices have seen the likes of Boy George, Foxes, Paloma Faith, Gregory Porter and Kurt Elling all perform.

Elsewhere, saxophonist and composer Trish Clowes will be performing a special show in association with PRS for Music as part of the festival.
