King Krule has unveiled details of his debut album 6 Feet Beneath the Moon which is set for release on 24 August.

King, also known as Archy Marshall, will release via XL. The date will coincide with the singer songwriter’s birthday.

The album was produced by Archy alongside Rodaidh McDonald who has worked with the likes of The xx and Savages.

Previously known as Zoo Kid, King Krule's name has been bandied around as one to watch by music industry tastemakers and tippers for the past 18 months (we earmarked him for big things back in 2011).

Past releases include a self-titled EP and single Rock Bottom/Octopus put out by Rinse, the home of dubstep-pop star Katy B.
