Kate Bush announces first live gigs since 1979

Kate Bush has announced her first live shows since 1979 with a series of London gigs planned for the autumn.

The iconic Wuthering Heights singer is to kick off her To the Dawn series of shows on 26 August with a total of 15 nights of performances planned.

Previously, Kate toured for six weeks back in 1979 in and around mainland Europe but never ventured out on the road again.

Kate announced the shows on her website saying: ‘I am delighted to announce that we will be performing some live shows this coming August and September. I hope you will be able to join us and I look forward to seeing you there.’

50 Words for Snow, her latest album was released in 2011.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale at 9.30 am on 28 March. Purchases are limited to a maximum of four per person.
