Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood will perform his acclaimed score for Hollywood film There Will Be Blood live at London’s Roundhouse.

The London Contemporary Orchestra, featuring Jonny himself and conducted by Hugh Brunt, will perform the score for Paul Thomas Anderson’s Academy award-winning film on 6 and 7 August.

Radiohead’s guitarist will join orchestra to play an early electronic instrument, the ondes martenot, as part of the performance.

The score features passages from Greenwood’s compositions Popcorn Superhet Receiver and Bodysong (the latter used in the track Convergence), as well as works by Arvo Pärt and Brahms.

The event is part of the venue’s Summer Sessions with performances by the likes of Imogen Heap and Penguin Café to also feature.

Greenwood has scored five major films, including Bodysong, There Will Be Blood, We Need To Talk About Kevin, Norwegian Wood and The Master.
