The mission, which takes place on 14 and 15 May, will help UK businesses grow their knowledge of the French music market and meet with local music executives.

The two-day programme includes panels, presentations and keynote interviews with publishers, distributors and record labels plus representatives from the worlds of sync, live, licensing, marketing and media.

There will also be a networking party held in conjunction with French collecting society SACEM.

A spokesperson from MPA said: ‘This mission is a great opportunity for UK delegates to learn more about how their companies can succeed in France and also to gain a clearer and more detailed understanding of French music itself, for possible exploitation in the UK.’

Interested parties should note there is a non-refundable registration fee:

BPI or MPA members: £100 + VAT = £120 per person

Non members: £130 + VAT = £156 per person.

Delegates will be expected to fund their own travel and accommodation costs.
