Johnny Marr, Underworld and La Roux are among the acts performing at this year’s 6 Music Live gig series.
Taking place from Monday 6 to Friday 10 October at Maida Vale, the series of shows will celebrate the power of live performance with First Aid Kit and James also due to play.
John Grant will perform with the BBC Philharmonic in Salford on Friday 3 October while from Saturday 11 to Tuesday 14 October, the station will celebrate and relive some of the 300 plus sessions performed on the network over the past year.

Last October, 6 Music Live at Maida Vale featured Sir Paul McCartney, Polica, Sigur Ros, Goldfrapp and Manic Street Preachers.
