The premier of the new composition will take place on 12 June at Wigmore Hall as part of the month-long event held at a variety of different venues.

Commissioned by the Mental Health Foundation for Anxiety 2014 and supported by the PRS for Music Foundation, the piece will be performed by Aurora Orchestra with the Mind and Soul Choir.

According to organisers: ‘The new work extends Pook’s interest in the experience of mental illness, which she explored in her ground-breaking 2012 work Hearing Voices.’

Anxiety Arts Festival London 2014 is curated by the Mental Health Foundation.
