Domino singer songwriter James Yorkston has announced details of a new LP, The Cellardyke Recording And Wassailing Society.

The album is the eighth in the Scottish musician’s career and will be released on 18 August.

Produced by Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor in London’s Livingston studio, it features KT Tunstall, The Pictish Trail, Rob Smoughton, Fimber Bravo as well as long-term collaborators Jon Thorne and Emma Smith.

The LP features 15 new James Yorkston penned songs plus a cover of Chris Bell’s classic You & Your Sister.

26 August - Old Queens Head, London (feat. James Yorkston/KT Tunstall/Pictish Trail + support from Rozi Plain)
25 September - Dingwalls, London (feat. James Yorkston/Alexis Taylor/KT Tunstall/The Pictish Trail/Jon Thorne/Emma Smith + support)
