Adele, Laura Mvula (pictured) and Skepta are among this year's hopefuls as the 2017 Ivor Novello Awards nominees are announced.
Michael Kiwanuka joins Mvula as a nominee for both the prestigious Best Song Musically and Lyrically Award and Album Award.
Once again, Adele received an Ivors nod in the PRS for Music Most Performed Work category for her single When We Were Young, with Coldplay taking the two other spots for Adventure of a Lifetime and Hymn for the Weekend.
James Bay took this award at last year's celebrations for his single, Hold Back the River.
For Best Contemporary Song, Skepta and Josh Homme's Man is nominated alongside Mura Masa and A$AP Rocky's Love$ick and NEIKED and Dyo's Sexual.
Elsewhere, Clint Mansell, Dario Marianelli and Dan Jones are nominees for Best Original Film Score, with Peaky Blinders composer Martin Phipps receiving a nomination for Best Television Soundtrack for his work on War and Peace.
Winners of awards celebrating outstanding songwriters and composers will be announced at the ceremony on Thursday May 18, for awards such as International Achievement, Lifetime Achievement and PRS For Music Outstanding Contribution to British Music.
2017 marks the 62nd year of The Ivors, an awards ceremony created by BASCA, which celebrates, honours and rewards excellence in songwriting and composing.
