Glasgow’s shiny synth-pop trio Chvrches have had an incredible few months – from wowing crowds at Coachella to crash landing into the top 10 with their debut album The Bones of What You Believe.

Testament to their globetrotting sounds, Iain Cook, Lauren Mayberry and Martin Doherty will play to audiences from Switzerland to Australia, Canada to Mexico, before the year is out.

With such a grueling tour schedule, and little time to decamp to write new material, we caught up with the trio to find out more about life on the road.

Watch them chatting backstage at Glastonbury about the soundtrack to their twice-weekly tour bus parties and explaining how they manage to keep a cool head on stage when everyone around them is going bananas…
