International Music+Sound Award winners 2014 announced

TV composer John Lunn, sound designer Nick Ryan and The Heavy were among the winners at the International Music+Sound Awards.

TV composer John Lunn, sound designer Nick Ryan and The Heavy were among the winners at the International Music+Sound Awards.

The winners have been announced ahead of an awards party this Friday (20 June) in Cannes.

John Lunn received the prize for best original branding and title sequence for the fourth series of Downtown Abbey while recent M interviewee Nick Ryan received the best sound design for ad trailer and promo for his work on Volkswagen’s Play the Road campaign.

The Heavy’s What Makes a Good Man? won the best sync for its use in the Guiness Sapeurs ad campaign.

Nick Payne, co-founder of the awards said: ‘It’s been overwhelming to see such an impressive array of work entered from all four corners of the globe.

‘With so many outstanding entries, winning an International Music+Sound Award is truly a mark of excellence and we are delighted to congratulate all winners in each of the categories.’
