International Music+Sound award finalists unveiled

Composers John Lunn, Murray Gold and David Reyes are among the finalists of this year’s International Music+Sound Awards.

Composers John Lunn, Murray Gold and David Reyes are among the finalists of this year’s International Music+Sound Awards.

John has been nominated in the TV programme category for the Downtown Abbey series four score while Doctor Who composer Murray has also been named for the same award for his music for Last Tango in Halifax.

David Reyes is in the film category for his Before Snowfall score and up against the likes of Haim Frank Ilfman's Big Bad Wolf as well as Ronnie Christopher Doyle’s score for A New Man.

The winners are due to be announced on 16 June with an awards party at Plage Goeland, Cannes featuring DJ Yoda, Ithaca and Lisbon Kid on 20 June.

The International Music+Sound Awards were set up to celebrate the contribution of music and sound design in the world of visual and audio media.

Entries are accepted from television and cinema commercials, non-broadcast or viral advertising, branding and title sequence, feature films, television programmes and computer games.
