Independent Label Market to debut in Glasgow

The Independent Label Market is to take place in Glasgow for the first time in October.

Numbers, Optimo, Chemikal Underground and Lucky Me will be among the labels appearing at the market on 12 October at the city’s Barras Art and Design Centre.

Label managers will be manning the booths and selling their own products. New, catalogue and rareties are expected to feature while DJ sets are expected from the likes of Belle and Sebastian and Edwyn Collins.

The Vinyl Factory and Independent Label Market are presenting their debut Glasgow market with support from the Association of Independent Music (AIM), the Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA), The List and Kiltr.
