Inaugural Unsigned Music Awards winners revealed

Elle Exxe, Brother & Bones and Malaika are among the winners at the first ever Unsigned Music Awards.

Elle Exxe, Brother & Bones and Malaika are among the winners at the first ever Unsigned Music Awards.

Elle Exxe was recognised in the Best Female Solo Act category while Brother & Bones won the award for Best Live Act.

Elsewhere, Irish songwriter Malaika received the Best Jazz/Blues Act accolade. See below for the full list of winners.

The awards were presented by BBC Radio 1’s Chris Stark and Laura Whitmore, and took placr at the Troxy Theatre, London, on 27 October.

Artists including Dani Sylvia, Elle Exxe and Hunter & the Bear performed on the night.

The event will be broadcast on 31 October on Showcase TV.
