Brother & Bones, Elle Exxe (pictured) and UHURU are among the emerging artists nominated for the inaugural Unsigned Music Awards.
Folk-rock quintet Brother & Bones have received three nods in total, in the Best EP/Album/Record, Best Live Act and Best Rock Act categories.
Elle Exxe is nominated in the Best Female Solo Act category while UHURU are tipped in the Best Electronic Act list.
Singer songwriter Anna Pancaldi is also in the running, with placements in the Best Female Solo Act and Best Singer Songwriter categories.
The awards ceremony takes place on 27 October at The Troxy, London.
The Unsigned Music Awards was founded on the belief that, while the wider music industry hosts many award shows to recognise the achievements of well-known artists and songwriters, no one has tilted the talent towards the unsigned industry.
These awards, set up last year by Simon O’Kelly, Georgina Thomas and Ben Connor, aim to recognise the huge wealth of new music on the same scale.
