The rights for this year’s Ibiza International Music Summit (IMS) 2013 anthem, written by Chic’s Nile Rodgers and remixed by Eats Everything, are now up for auction.

Nile Rodgers, who memorably collaborated with Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams the French duo’s Get Lucky earlier this year, was asked to create an original track for the event.

According to IMS, the record was so well received when showcased at the event that bids were taken on the rights to the track. Once this figure reached £5,000, organisers decided to open up the auction beyond the event.

Ben Turner, IMS co founder and partner, said: ‘Nile said he had found an old unreleased classic so we started here but very quickly he wanted to create something brand new with IMS in mind.

‘Eats Everything is one of our favourite artists of the moment, so it’s become a dream collaboration. The timing is incredible with Daft Punk being number one in almost every country in the world.’

Now labels and publishers looking to acquire the rights have until 14 July at 09:00 to submit a bid with organisers asking for a minimum bid of £5,000. Both managers of Nile Rodgers and Eats Everything will be consulted on the final decision process.

To make a sealed bid for the IMS Anthem, please email your company name, company number, country of origin and an offer covering advance, length of term, worldwide basis only and all the usual elements to Leigh Head at Sherrards Solicitors (contact: lbh@sherrards.com).

Representatives from PRS for Music were present at this year’s IMS talking through the organsiation’s new dance music initiative Amplify.
