Imagem Music has announced the promotion of Leo Chantzaras to senior international A&R manager.
The new role will see Leo working on all Imagem signed artists on an international level and report to Imagem Music UK managing director, Kim Frankiewicz.
Simultaneously, Leo will continue his domestic A&R role in Germany and report to Imagem Music Germany MD Jens-Markus Wegener.
His CV includes signing a number of songwriters and artists including Erik Nyholm (Finland’s most successful pop writer), and German rapper Fler through his global network of contacts.
Previously, before joining Imagem, he enjoyed a successful career as a songwriter with 25 platinum and gold releases in Europe and Asia as Freakchild.
Leo Chantzaras, Imagem Music Germany senior international A&R manager, said: ‘I am truly honoured to be stepping into this new role - I’ve never been one confined by boxes and boundaries so this feels like such a natural step forward.
‘As an artist centric business, at the heart of all our decisions is about what’s best for our writers and artists. As a writer myself this is exactly what I always wanted from a publisher. Jens Markus-Wegener, Kim Frankiewicz and André de Raaff have created a truly progressive publishing company, and really am looking forward to this exciting new chapter.’
