Indie music publisher Imagem music and London club night and label Blue Flowers have a new joint venture publishing agreement.

West London-based Blue Flowers, set up in 2004 by Chris Pearson, has become a leading live music night and label in the discovery of new artists.

Jamie T, Adele, Florence and The Machine, Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons, Lianne La Havas, Michael Kiwanuka, Nick Mulvey and Sam Smith are among the acts to perform at the event.

Blue Flowers has also recently agreed a label deal with Island Records.

The new publishing agreement will see Imagem provide full administrative and creative services for the new roster on a global basis.

Kim Frankiewicz, Imagem Music UK managing director, said: ‘I’ve known Chris for many years having worked together directly quite some time ago, and have always thought that there would be a next chapter!

‘Blue Flowers has proven itself to be on the needle when it comes to being ahead of the curve so am delighted that he has found a partner in Imagem.’
