Electro pop outfit Hot Chip are to return this year with their sixth album, Why Make Sense?
The record comes three years after their most recent full length effort, the rapturously received In Our Heads and will be released on 18 May.
According to the band’s label Domino, the album was recorded between Oxford and London.
It comes in the wake of numerous side projects from the band with Joe Goddard moonlighting with Raf Daddy as cuddly house duo, the 2 Bears.
Alex and Felix from the band have spent time recording and touring as New Build.
