Electronic pop band Hot Chip have unveiled new single Dark and Stormy, their first new material since last year’s acclaimed In Our Heads album.

The five minute song, which was debuted on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show, was recorded at Club Ralph in London and features Charles Hayward from This Heat / About Group on drums.

Dark and Stormy will be released by Domino Records on 22 July on 10 inch vinyl and as a digital bundle.

The rest of the release will include a version of Look At Where We Are from their latest In Our Heads album.

This reinterpretation of the track will feature Tori and Reiko Kudo from the Japanese folk-psych collective, Maher Shalal Hash Baz.

Elsewhere the likes of electronic producers Todd Terje, Daphni (aka Caribou's Dan Snaith) and Major Lazer will offer remixes of other album tracks.

The release will arrive after their only festival appearance at the Latitude Festival on 20 July before electronic pioneers Kraftwerk.
