The Horrors prep new album Luminous

The Horrors have announced details of their new album Luminous due for release in May.

The Horrors have announced details of their new album Luminous due for release in May.

The album, the band’s fourth, is the follow up to 2011’s Skying, and will be available from 5 May.

Luminous was recorded over 15 months in the band's east London studio- with co-producer Craig Silvey and is preceded by I See You. The first glimpse of new material was premiered on BBC Radio 1 by Zane Lowe last night (24 February).

In a press release, frontman Faris Badwan said: ‘We've refined our sound. And in terms of songwriting it is the record I'm happiest with.’

Adele producer Paul Epworth worked with the band on the track Falling Star.
