Wolf Alice, Years and Years, Peace and Slaves are among the acts coming together to raise money for Help Refugees with a series of live gigs.
As part of the charity’s CHOOSE LOVE winter appeal, artists from across the worlds of indie, dance and jazz are uniting to play live and increase awareness of its campaigns.
A launch party hosted by Lauren Laverne featuring Jamie Cullum with guests including KT Tunstall will take place at the Jazz Café on 4 December.
Wolf Alice have invited some very special friends to join them for Bands 4 Refugees at Kamio on 5 December, including band members from the likes of Years and Years, Black Honey, Slaves and Swim Deep.
Elsewhere, Rave for Refugees will be held at London’s Electric Brixton in December to launch the campaign with the likes of Eats Everything, Daphni, Faithless, Jon Hopkins, Skream and Chase & Status all performing.
Commenting, Chase & Status said: ‘We are incredibly proud to be supporting the charity Help Refugees in their formidable effort to help the plight of thousands of refugees around the world. Rave for Refugees is an amazing chance for the music industry to come together and support a much needed cause through two amazing club nights.’
