Music creators and small creative businesses are being urged to complete a government survey about the challenges they face in protecting their Intellectual Property (IP).
The All-Party Parliamentary Groups on Intellectual Property and Small Businesses are behind the study, which they hope will shed light on the opportunities and challenges facing small businesses and creators in relation to IP.
Other organisations such as larger businesses, trade associations and enforcement organisations are also welcome to submit their concerns.
The survey is being run in acknowledgement of the fact that small businesses are responsible for delivering innovation and driving competition in both the knowledge and manufacturing economies, making the UK a world leader in the creative, branded and design industries.
The survey is available online here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ZYYWC9F. The deadline for submissions is 5pm, Tuesday 9 March.
In addition, the groups will be holding a session to further discuss these issues on Tuesday 22 March from 5.30pm to 6.30pm in the House of Commons.
