Emerging singer songwriter Harry Pane has been named as the winner of Meet & Jam’s Road to the 100 Club competition.

The new artist was chosen as the winner by a judging panel of industry experts following a night of live music at the legendary music venue on Thursday 21 January.

The event followed over six months of Meet & Jam nights across the country. A number of musicians and original acts were chosen to perform at the final from these heats.

Harry won the top prize of a £5,000 development fund from Island Records and PRS for Music membership.

In attendance were representatives from Island Records (Annie Christensen) and PRS chairman Guy Fletcher OBE (pictured above with Harry).

Multi-instrumentalist Luke Juby, and engineer/producer Harry Rutherford were tasked with picking the jamming winners (all of whom won brand new instruments courtesy of PMT House of Rock), and the winning vocalist (who won custom fitted in-ear monitors provided by Read Audio).

The winners were James Numbere (vocals), Fernando Sanchez (guitar), Herty Hill (bass), Alex Weybury (keys) and Matt Chivers (drums).

The event was presented by Meet and Jam in collaboration with Island Records, PRS for Music, Spinnup and Jack Daniel’s.
