The h.Club 100 Awards nominees announced

Double bassist Chi-chi Nwanoku, PRS for Music Foundation’s Vanessa Reed and Suzanne Bull from music charity Attitude is Everything are among the nominees for the h.Club 100 Awards 2016.

The awards aims to recognise the achievements of the 100 most influential and innovative professionals in the creative industries.

Now the shortlist has been chosen, a public vote will be held until 8 September. The final winner in each of the ten categories will be unveiled at an awards event at the Hospital Club Studio after 4 October.

Other nominees in the music categories include grime MC Skepta, Julie Adenuga from Beats 1 and Dice FM founder Phil Hutcheon.

To be eligible each nominee in all categories must have been actively involved in the creative industries in the past 12 months and been UK-based during this time.

Previous winners from the world of music include Bob Shennan, Clara Amfo, Henry Village & Joe Gossa, Kate Tempest, Mark Davyd & Beverley Whitrick and Rob Da Bank.
