Guy Fletcher, PRS chairman, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of West London.
Guy was one of a number of industry leaders from the music, health, business, hospitality and engineering industries to receive the award.
The honorary recipients were recognised alongside 1,600 students at their graduation at Wembley Stadium.
Commenting on his prize, Guy said: 'I am lucky to have enjoyed a career working with incredibly talented people, and am delighted to receive this honour.
‘'I look forward to continuing to represent the rights of composers and creators of music.’
Guy received an honorary Doctor of Letters (Hon DLitt) from UWL's London College of Music.
Other recipients included Dr Martin Ellerby (composer), Colin Sandy (A former financial director of Amshold Group and Tottenham Hotspur FC) and Paul Preston (former deputy chairman of Which).
