Are you a new artist who’d like to bag a place on the Green Man Festival line-up this year? Look no further – the Green Man Rising competition is open for entries.
Now in its 11th year, Green Man Rising hosts the very best new artists and bands on its main Mountain Stage, with previous winners and finalists including Her’s, Siobhan Wilson, Keto and Bad Patents.
This year’s winner will open the stage on 17 August, appearing on the same bill as Fleet Foxes, The War on Drugs and Grizzly Bear, while other finalists will appear on the festival’s Rising Stage.
Submissions will be accepted until 4 May, with every entry getting a guaranteed listen by judges. All you need to do is send in some Soundcloud links, a 100-word bio and a photo.
Artists will be whittled down to just 20, who are then judged by a panel of industry tastemakers. Each will choose their top six artists, with the six most popular across the board invited to play in front of a judging panel.
The live final will take place on 5 June at The Lexington, London.
