The Green Man Festival is once again calling for new bands and artists to apply for an exclusive opening spot as part of its Green Man Rising competition.
Singer-songwriters and bands have the chance to perform on the Mountain Stage on Friday 18 August alongside headliners PJ Harvey and Ryan Adams.
To apply, aspiring artists have until 31 May to submit a photo, short bio and music.
Once submissions have been received, an elite panel of industry tastemakers shortlist 20 semi-finalists.
Each expert will then shortlist six favourites, before the six most popular overall are invited to the final on Wednesday 5 July at the Camden Assembly, London.
Previous judging panels have featured representatives from Domino Records, Mojo Magazine and Moshi Moshi.
Tickets for the final are free and can be booked through DICE – Just For You.
