The Great Escape (TGE) music convention 2015 is to celebrate UK music talent for its tenth anniversary edition.
Taking place 14-16 May, the event has previously partnered with countries such as Finland, Australia and Norway with its mix of live music and panels.
2015 will see the focus on the home-grown music scene with four core strands at the heart of the programme of debate and discussion - Music Licensing - Explained At Last!, Music Marketing Is Broken - Let’s Fix It, How To Sell Out Gracefully - Better Brand Partnerships and What's The Point Of A Record Label Anyway?
Kat Morris, event founder said: ‘In its history, TGE has built a reputation as one of the most significant international festivals on the circuit and we are always incredibly proud of our lead country partnerships.
‘These collaborations provide new artists a key opportunity to perform at the UK’s biggest industry event, being highlighted to some 18,000 attendees. As we celebrate the festival’s 10th anniversary, we feel it’s the perfect time to focus on the huge amount of brilliant, home-grown talent here in the UK.’
150 acts are expected to be unveiled over the next week with early bird passes now available.
