Among the winners were former Gramophone Young Artist of the Year Isabelle Faust, who won the Concerto Award for her recording of Mozart's violin concertos with Giovanni Antonini and Il Giardino Armonico.

Antonini and Armonico also won the Orchestra award for their Haydn Symphonies: No 12; No 60, Il Distretto, No 70 recording.

Bach Collegium Japan and Masaaki Suzuki won the Choral category for their recording of Mozart’s C Minor Mass, which Gramophone ranked 'alongside the period-instrument benchmarks'.
