Gloria Abramoff has been appointed interim chief executive officer (CEO) of the Radio Academy.
The managing director of Tonic Media and Productions will take over the role from Paul Robinson who stepped down from the post earlier this month.
Gloria took up the job on 14 July and will be working closely with the organisation’s board of trustees to inform the creation and delivery of the academy’s strategic and commercial direction.
Previously, Gloria has worked in radio broadcasting and production across the BBC, indie and commercial sectors.
The academy is a charity set up to promote excellence in UK radio broadcasting and audio production.
Earlier in the year the academy hosted its awards with jazz songwriter Jamie Cullum and spoken rapper Scroobius Pip being among the winners.
