Eats Everything, Danielle Moore from Crazy P and the PRS Foundation’s Maxie Gedge are among the speakers lined up for Sound Industry, a brand new music conference in the South West.

Taking place on 30 March at Colston Hall, Bristol, the event aims to challenge and inspire individuals working across all aspects of the vibrant musical landscape of Bristol and beyond.

Hosted by Bristol Women In Music, the conference programme has been curated to offer a platform for lively debate and fresh ideas that will equip and challenge both men and women.

Panel topics include music and mind, resilience in the creative industries and striving, surviving, sustaining - unique journeys in music.

According to the organisers, ‘too often, the music industry as a whole can feel like it is directed at - and run by - a very narrow demographic of people; Sound Industry’s mission is to represent something more diverse.’

The day will also include live performances at lunchtime and an evening concert with Kate Simko and the London Electronic Orchestra.
