The second London Sync Sessions, presented by Metropolis Studios in partnership with Midem, will be held in September.
Taking place 28-29 September at Metropolis Studios in London, attendees will have the chance to explore the role of sync in the music industry with publishers, labels, film and TV producers, composers and music supervisors all in attendance.
The first speakers and panelists have been announced, including representatives from Sony Music and Ninja Tune, plus music supervisors who have worked on film and television series such as Absolutely Fabulous, Deadpool, The Theory Of Everything and Luther. Panels will also be led by Spotify, BBC and Pusher Music.
Ian Brenchley, Metropolis Studios chief executive officer, said: ‘Last year’s inaugural Sync Sessions were an absolute success and we are delighted to be bringing it back for 2016. We have a fantastic line-up from all sectors and look forward to another world industry event.’
Last year’s speakers included Jason Alexander, music supervisor for CSI and Gotham, Tom Stanford, director of Music for Platinum Rye Entertainment and Rich Robinson, vice-president of Synch UK.
