The latest in the regular series of BPI Insight Sessions will be staged jointly with the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA) and invite industry professionals to get to know the habits of teenage music fans.

Taking place on 27 June at the BPI's County Hall, Generation Z: Meet the Young Millennials will explore the music consumption habits and social behaviour of today's teenagers.

Key focus areas will include how teenagers listen to and discover new music, social media platforms, new devices and tech plus how labels and artists can communicate with this young demographic.

The event, to be chaired by Music Ally's Paul Brindley, will feature a keynote presentation from MiDiA Research's Mark Mulligan that will form the basis of a new BPI/ERA report.

Generation Z: Meet the Young Millennials will also present a range of industry case studies focused on reaching this market. The evening will conclude with a panel discussion featuring, amongst others, Tiffany Tasker from SuperAwesome, a digital media platform focused on young teens.

The event will be presented in partnership with MiDiA Research and Music Ally.
