The B-Side Project, a global remix contest, is now calling for entries from songwriters and composers.

Participating artists will be paired with electronic music producers from the around the world. Not only does the competition offer artists access to new networks but also the chance to have their music mastered at Metropolis Studios and their music heard by industry professionals.

The winner of the best remix will win prizes/opportunities worth more than £15,000 including Amphion One15 Studio Monitors, Audio Technica mic and headphones and IK Multimedia software.

The winning producer will be invited to watch their track being mastered at Metropolis Studios in London. Each of the remix tracks in the top 10 will be mastered at Metropolis and featured on an album to be digitally released on B-Side Recordings (distributed by Republic of Music), in early 2017.

Last year’s B-Side Project saw 160 entrants from 18 countries take part in a competition of the highest standards. In 2016 expect even more entries and the bar to be raised yet further, with the winner revealed at an awards event at Metropolis Studios in London on 1 December.

With the help of industry sponsors and partners, this year including Prism Sound, Amphion (a new sponsor for 2016), Metropolis, PRS for Music and more, B-Side Project has helped numerous producers and artists since its start in 2009.
