The evening begins with a presentation from Chris Cooke of CMU, who will preview the Music Managers Forum’s (MMF) Dissecting the Digital Dollar series which explains how streaming royalties are processed, where money gets blocked or lost in the system, and what songwriters can do to address these issues.
Following the presentation, a panel of music creators and rightsholders will discuss the issues raised.
The panel includes, songwriter Helienne Lindvall, Roberto Neri of Songtrust, Neil Jones from ICE, songwriter Jim Duguid, and songwriting manager Janice Brock.
The session takes place on 23 April from 6pm to 9pm at The Ivor Academy’s Borough offices.
