Award winning jazz vocalist Georgia Mancio will be performing two shows at this year’s London Jazz Festival.
The performer, songwriter and promoter of London’s Revoice! Festival, will showcase two different projects with her sets.
Georgia’s first gig will be opening for the Christine Tobin’s Leonard Cohen tribute A Thousand Kisses Deep at the Purcell Room tonight (19 November). She will perform with her new trio featuring Gareth Lockrane on flutes and Geoff Gascoyne on electric and acoustic basses.
Her second show will be with Grammy Award winning jazz pianist, composer and arranger, Alan Broadbent. The gig will take place at the Phesantry on 24 November.
The gigs will crown a successful year for Georgia. She completed a 24 date national spring/summer tour (assisted by Jazz Services/Arts Council) while the 4th edition of her much acclaimed international voice festival, ReVoice! was also held.
