Future Learn, in partnership with the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC), is launching Copyright and the Business of Creative Industries as a free online educational programme.

Starting on 22 July, the course will explore the role of copyright across cultural and creative sectors, examine its practical application and focus on its impact in different sectors.

You will also learn how copyright rules apply and how the flow of economic benefits operates between creators, rightsholders and users of creative works.

On completion of the course, you will build an understanding of copyright that is invaluable for creators and people hoping to build a career in cultural and creative industries.

The programme runs for four weeks and offers three hours of online tuition per week.
