The Association of Independent Music (AIM) has announced the full line-up of speakers and sessions for AIM House.
The event will be presented as a live and interactive virtual conference on Friday 15 May.
AIM House has previously been held at The Great Escape to provide a home and hub for independent music businesses at the festival.
Speakers will be joining the event from companies including: AWAL Recordings, British Council, Brownswood Recordings, Deviate Digital, DICE, Full Time Hobby, i:emusic, Julie’s Bicycle, Key Production, Merlin, Ninja Tune, Radio X, The Floor, Viva La Visa and more.
Independent star Georgia joins the line-up for a special recording of the Tape Notes podcast, discussing her acclaimed album ‘Seeking Thrills’ with award-winning producer Mark Ralph.
Jeremy Sirota, chief executive of Merlin, will give attendees a live company update for his first public appearance as CEO following his appointment to the role this January.
Throughout the full-day online event, themes of discussion will focus on business areas that are especially useful during Covid-19 – practical measures that attendees can learn from and enact straight away. Topics include live streaming, building on sudden online success, releasing music sustainably, engaging with fans, visas post-Brexit and COVID-19, as well as market insights on Latin America and East Asia.
The full programme is available via the AIM House website.
The event is free to access and open to all but attendees are required to RSVP.
